CHAR-BROIL GOURMET TRU-INFRARED 2-BURNER PROPANE GAS GRILL

This grill is suitable for smaller spaces and less cooking.  It is perfect for someone who rarely needs to cook more than a couple of steaks at one time.  I did get 12 burgers on it so it isn't tiny, it is convenient.   Firing up one burner the grill doesn't seem to cook any faster than non-infrared.   Firing up both burners on high and you get up over 550 degrees rather quickly.    The fit on the actual grill pieces could be better.  Cleaning it is a bit troublesome.  You have to pull the grills out to get to the tray underneath which is where you get half of your "infrared" cooking.   I like the grill having the tray under the grills.  That means all the goop that usually falls down into the burners and eventually clogs the burner and causes failure remain on the tray.   That should give the grill a longer life.

The yellow arrow points to where the grill does not fit well.  There
is too much play and you could nudge the grill down onto
the infrared tray.
I did not like the open back on the propane tank storage. I spray painted the side of an old computer tower and used some magnets to hold that in place. It is open at the top so you still get air flow but it hides the unsightly tank.

Samsung FlipShot-ho hum

I just got the Samsung FlipShot aka SCH-U900. If you haven’t noticed by now, I am very family oriented, specifically focused on grandchildren. I frequently lament that I don’t have my camera on me. However, I always have my phone on me. Thusly I wanted a phone with a decent camera. The FlipShot comes close. Samsung claims it is a 3 megapixel camera with flash and zoom. The photos are not what I would consider decent from a digital camera but compared to my last phone/camera, they are much better. The phone has a slot for a micro sd memory card. I popped a 2gb card in there for saving my photos. I have not been able to find a way to default the photos to the memory card. You have to manually move them. I haven’t given up and perhaps in a software upgrade there will be a way to get them to the card without moving them manually. Getting them off of the phone is interesting. If you don’t buy Samsung’s charging/data cable, you can send them to yourself and get them on your pc that way. You
