AKG Y50 Yellow On-Ear Headphone with In-Line One-Button Universal Remote/Microphone

I was a touch nervous about the comfort of this type of  headphone.   I know if the sound is great you can suffer but I still was concerned.  I was pleasantly surprised that the headphones are light and are quite comfortable to wear.   The sound was quite good.  Makes me wonder why I put up with earbuds for so long.  There is a definitive base but it is not overwhelming.  I tried some Black Eyed Peas, some Who and Pink Floyd and was pleased with the range of sound.  I also liked the outside sound dampening.  The classic rock channel was on the TV and I could not hear Credence Clearwater even with the sound on the headphones at a low level.    That is good but it does make me wonder about all the people you see running or walking with headphones of this type.  They have to be oblivious of any outside noise such as a rabid coyote chasing them.  Of course, the volume of the music can create the same level of oblivion which is obviously what some of them want.  I did tes

Skip Hop Explore and More Click Clack Toy, Hedgehog

This toy is cute.  The noise it makes is not overly loud so it shouldn't be too annoying.  It does not need any batteries which is a big plus.  The mirror idea is good but poorly executed.  The hinge point does not allow more than 50% of the mirror to be seen.  The child will not be able to see a full face reflection.  The textured surface allows for exploration with little fingers.  With the exception of the mirror, a nice little toy at $9.99. from the vendor: ·                            Ages 6 months plus ·                            2 separate pieces click and clack when twisted  ·                            Rubberized details for teething  ·                            Rattle beads in belly ·                            BPA-free, PVC-free, phthalate free  If reviewing a product, it may have been received free of charge. That will NEVER have a bearing on my recommendations.

TeckNet® M002 2.4G Nano Cordless Optical

TeckNet® M002 2.4G Nano Cordless Optical Mouse - 18 Month Battery Life - Battery Level Indicator - 2.4 GHz -3 Adjustable DPI Levels: 2000/1500/1000dPi - Nano USB wireless receiver - Purple I was a bit nervous regarding quality at this price.  The mouse has surpassed all my expectations.   I got it as a spare and have since retired my Microsoft wireless mouse for use as the spare and I use this mouse full time.  The scroll  wheel works a great deal better than the one on the Microsoft mouse.  For some reason that scroll wheel would periodically go wonky and dart all over the place.  I have used this for about a month and the  only negative I have discovered is the diminutive size of the USB receiver.   I like the smaller size (about 1/4 the size of my previous mouse) but as small as it is, I still have to remove it from the laptop when I am bagging up my computer.  It is so small, I am concerned I might lose it.   The previous mouse had a slot on the bottom that he

Philips Norelco NT3155/60 3100 Nose Trimmer

Selfie (really! you believe everything you read?) Being hirsute has never been an issue until the onset of aging.  That onset is often signified by the appearance of rampant nose and ear hair.   That would explain the pages of hits when one Google's nose trimmers. Sadly I have found the need for a nose trimmer and have owned several.  This Norelco is by far the best nose hair trimmer I have used.  I am surprised it does not cost more as it is far superior to several more expensive trimmers I have used in the past.   I like the ability to rinse it with water which is a first in the nose hair trimmers I have owned.  It does a very efficient job with no eye watering pulling said pulling which seems to be characteristic of several trimmers I have used. This is a very good bang for the buck. From the vendor: ·                            ProtecTube technology preventing pulls, nicks, and cuts ·                            Ideally angled to easy reach inside nos

Neutrogena CoolDry Sport Sunscreen Lotion SPF70

This sunscreen seems to actually do what it claims.  I used it on my head(bald) in very sunny south Florida .  I  did not show any signs of burn which, considering my baldness, is pretty obvious.  I did not seem to show any clumping which seems to occur in the higher spf categories.   It appears to be less oily than other sprays which in general seem way less greasy than the lotions.   In a comparison to Coppertone Sport spray this seemed less sticky and felt drier.  (Less sticky is very important if you happen to spend a lot of time in sand traps or maybe on the beach.) I liked the feel of the spray and the protection was over the top. From the Vendor: Neutrogena CoolDry Sport Sunscreen Lotion provides superior protection during even the most intense activities. With new MICROMESH technology, this sunscreen allows sweat to pass through and evaporate away while clinically proven, durable protection stays right where it should. So your skin stays naturally cool, comfort

Old Spice Swagger 2in1 Shampoo And Conditioner 25.3 Fl Oz, by Old Spice

It is hard to write an accurate and thorough review of a hair product when one is bald.  As I do not shave my head, I have a fringe area and I do have thick eyebrows.   I got a very good lather with this product with approximately a quarter size dollop.   The later was thick enough to be used as a body wash.   The aroma was pleasing and appropriately masculine and not feminine at all.   The bottle is 750ml which is the same size as most bottles of commercially available wine.  I suspect that a much smaller dollop will be used with soft water and thus this bottle will provide a substantial number of hair washings.   Seems like a good  product.  If reviewing a product, it may have been received free of charge. That will NEVER have a bearing on my recommendations.
