I installed the Ad-Aware security tool bar the other
day. It sounded good and you can’t have
too much security or can you?
FireFox went to a crawl.
Typing an email in gmail, I had keyboard lag like you would not
believe. I even changed the batteries
in my wireless keyboard thinking what the heck is going on. Finally I removed the Ad-Aware Security tool
bar and all went back to normal. So my
conclusion, as unscientific as it may be is that Ad-Aware either doesn’t play
nicely with FireFox or with gmail.
Either way, I don’t need the aggravation.
