Bissell ProHeat 2X Upright Deep Carpet Cleaner, 9200-T

Not being fond of cleaning in general, I wasn’t overly thrilled to shampoo the carpets recently. I have never tried any competing products but this one worked just fine. I have seen it referred to as a steam cleaner. I don’t think that is accurate. It has a built in heater but the water is definitely not steaming when applied to the carpet.

It is easy to use and not heavy which would be important to a lot of folks. I found it easy to clean and easy to empty the dirty water and refill. It is about as noisy as my Eureka vac. It does seem to leave drops of water if you leave it sit in one spot too long. The water was dirty when I emptied it so I am guessing my carpets are cleaner. For $199.00 it is decidedly cheaper than professional cleaning. The cleaner concentrate was $14.99 at Ace hardware. It doesn’t seem to go through it very quickly so a 24oz bottle should last you awhile. This unit has bad reviews at Amazon and great reviews at Target. My experience was positive and I feel it gave good value for the price. This was not a paid blog.

When carpets are cleaned on a regular basis then they stay as good as new for a long time. Another important motive behind cleaning the carpets is to maintain a healthy atmosphere at home or work. A dirty carpet is bound to develop an uneasy atmosphere. It is advised that the carpet cleaning job must be done at regular intervals of six months.

Yes, 6 months is a good standard, but this also depends on the area of carpet; if it's in a throughfare for example and how many, feet, shoes, paws trample over it each day.

I often spruce my carpets up every 3 months.

Remington RM2510 Rustler 17-Inch 25cc 2-Cycle Curved Shaft Gas Trimmer with QuickStart Technology

I haven't had a gas powered weed wacker for several years.   I still find the mixing of gas and oil a pain in the butt.   Since all my gas cans are in use and I didn't want to empty one to test this, I bought a new one gallon can.   The Remington includes a starter can of oil, 3.2oz which you mix with one gallon of gas.   I'm a direction reader so after reading them several times I began.  I installed the shield and repositioned the handle.   Pretty simple and wing nuts are not just goofy people, these wing nuts worked just fine.   It has a primer bulb which you depress ten times and then adjust the choke and pull away.   It is a very light pull and it started after the third sequence  of five pulls.   You leave it warm up and then you are ready to go.   The bump head that is supposed to release the cutting line works but not smoothly.  I was unable to get it to release line on the grass.  I had to "bump" it on the driveway to get it to release.   I
