There are not instructions but it is pretty easy to see what needs done. I would suggest that they add a note that the two uprights you need to screw on are not interchangeable, there is a right and a left. Of course with a 50/50 chance I put the wrong side on and had to swap it. Good light and very nimble fingers will be needed to screw this thing together. Once assembled it was easy to put on the door. It does the job but between bifocals and iffy light, assembling it was problematic. They do include a screw drive which was a nice touch.
