This may work just fine with a phone that does not have a protective case.  My case is waterproof and it thusly has the port recessed deeper than usual.  Consequently I could not get this to plug in as the male aspect wasn't long enough.  I was able to have the device recognized by both a 2.0 and 3.0 standard USB  ports on my laptop.  My thunderbolt port was unable to  see the device.  Conceptually this is swiss army knife type of device that gives a wide variety of connections, just be aware that if you have a case on your phone it may not work for you. The included documentation does not make it clear that the 32gb sd card comes out.  The description on the Amazon selling page shows it more clearly.  Initially I felt the photo was deceiving but when you follow the instructions you can remove the 32gb micro sd card and replace it with larger capacity up to 256gb.  The way they use the standard USB port to hold the memory card is...

This is a nice little frame.  The screen quality is good and the size will fit practically anywhere.   It boots right up if you put in an sd photo card.   The down side seems to be the remote.  The remote appears to be the only way you can address the multiple functions of the frame.  I could not get the remote open to put  in a battery.  I would also like to see it come with a battery as most people don't have a CR2025 battery on hand.   Perhaps my remote is an aberration but I put a lot of pressure on the supposed slide latch and I could not get it open. It does have multiple power options. If reviewing a product, it may have been received free of charge. That will NEVER have a bearing on my recommendations.

This is a very versatile video picture frame.   It can display photos and movies.  It can play music and show a calendar and a clock.   I tried a variety of storage devices.  It has a bit of a recognition problem with a USB drive but after rebooting the frame it worked fine.   The clarity of the photos is great.  The size of the file has a bearing on the how the file fits the screen.  The screen is large enough to see across the room.   This would make an awesome gift. This is a beautiful watch!  The color is a deep blue and it is simply gorgeous.   It also is easy to set, no crazy buttons or must use phone aps to get the time set.  The watch comes with a tiny little screwdriver  and instructions on how to adjust the band.   I have a lot of watches, this may be the best looking one.  If reviewing a product, it may have been received free of charge. If only income would increase with the same alacrity as the Comcast rate increases.   Every year you pay more and more for Television and Internet.   It seems impossible to cut your bills without losing some service.   I have tried a variety of high definition antennas to no avail.   I was able to use an antenna for one TV at my last house but I am now in a DEAD area for over the air digital reception.   What to do, what to do? There is a way to cut your Comcast bill and that is to get rid of some of your Comcast hardware.   Those little boxes that you pay a monthly fee for the use privilege.   Ditch 3 or 4 of those and you can get an immediate drop in your cable bill.   You still need something to replace the boxes you pulled out.   ROKU can replace those boxes.
