I inserted the batteries and tested the light.  I put it in a closet on a wire shelf, I did not even mount it.  I opened the door of the closet and the light turned on.  I closed the door and waited and the light went out. I repeated this several times.  I didn't time it but with no motion it seemed about 2 minutes before the light went out.  This is a good fix for a dark closet with no need to run wires. Hand Hold  I use the heck out of storage cubes.  I have a rack that holds them and I exchange them based on the seasons.  This is the nicest storage cube I have gotten. The material and frame seem sturdy and the hand hold is by far the best I have gotten.  This is good value for the money.  Oh, and they are also the best looking ones I have gotten. This is a nice night light.  The V shape of the light and the non-polarized plug means you can point the V down or up depending on where you want the focus of the light.  I have one behind a table pointed up and it shines up the wall while it was pointed down behind the table it was practically invisible.   A nice mellow yellow light is my choice but you can chooser a bright white.  This is a good value.
