Tour Gear Custom Fit Golf Belt Brown with Matte black Buckle

This is pretty darn nifty. It comes in a one size fits almost anyone. You cut it to 2" over your waist size an clamp the cut end into the buckle. The tongue of the belt then inserts into a rachet on the buckle. You pull it to your comfort level and you're done. It release with a knob on the bottom if you are right handed. It feels and looks very good. Also a better concept that similar belts I have. $20.00 at Amazon. Ratcheting belt buckle for a perfect fit Available in black, White or brown One size fits all If reviewing a product, it may have been received free of charge. That will NEVER have a bearing on my recommendations.

K'NEX Education STEM EXPLORATIONS: Levers & PULLEYS

K’NEX always grabs my attention as it is a local company.  I don’t know anyone who works there but I always feel good about supporting local businesses.  K’Nex has worked diligently to become part of the STEM trend.  Their manuals are clearly illustrated and the instructions are age appropriate.   They  have experiments that utilize the parts that are included in the kit.  Frankly unless supervised I don’t see many of the experiments being used but the intent is good.  In my opinion, the best use of this product is promoting creativity.  The creation of a project that is not defined in the manual is a measure of the versatility of the product.  In the case of my family, the use of levers and pulleys will translate into medieval weaponry.   ·                         The set includes 130+ parts for a single chi...

Graco Kendall 6 Drawer Double Dresser, Espresso

This dresser got mildly savaged by Amazon reviewers.  My experience was far more positive than most reviews.  Yes, the assembly is time consuming and not intuitive.  However you should realize that when you buy it that you are going to input a certain amount of labor.  The quality of the piece is good.  I have no clue what the wood is but it does not appear to be any kind of particle board or pressed wood.  The only non-wood is the back of the dresser and the drawer bottoms.   I did have one of the cams come out but re-insertion was not an issue.  The back was pre-drilled for the screws but one side was pre-drilled incorrectly and was far too close to the edge.  Finally the back bottom support bar would not seat on the dowel so I used an L bracket and some glue and that took care of that problem.  The drawers all work smoothly and the overall appearance is quite nice. In summary, the dresser does take some labor and the ...

Columbia Men's Kersey RFID Blocking Extra-Capacity Slimfold Wallet

The wallet looks good which is much better than my previous RFID blocking wallet.   It also held all my cards which are not inconsiderable.   It is not paranoia if they really are out to get you and if you are in an urban area it is certainly possible to be targeted by a "sniffer".   Since some credit cards have RFID chips.   Realistically most RFID chip you may have are probably encrypted and not susceptible to sniffing.    However if I am going to pay $25 for a new wallet, I may as well get one that blocks sniffing. ·                         75% Other Fibers, 25% Leather ·                         Imported ·                  ...

Bushnell 16MP Trophy Cam HD Essential E3 Trail...

This is a very impressive gadget.  I have seen these trail cameras on TV but have never owned one.  The camera seems very durable.  The setup instructions were a bit obtuse but not terribly so.  It took awhile to set up the camera but once set up, it seems to work ok. I experimented with the settings and they appear to work.   One interesting note, you can use a standard SD card with this but if you want to avoid going out and pulling the SD card or bringing the camera in and connecting it to your computer here is an idea.  I put an eye.fi mobi card in which is a wireless SD card.  If you set the software on your phone or tablet you can have the photos transmitted to those devices automatically.  This assumes where you are putting the camera is within your wifi envelope.  If it is, mine is, then you can bring your photos up on your phone without removing the SD card or the camera. This works as it is how I am using the camera. Well it wo...

DII Snowman Christmas Countdown, Indoor/Outdoor Holiday Décor For Walls & Doors

Pro Aegis 15.6" Laptop Backpack With Rfid Pocket Backpack

My traditional laptop carry bag is nowhere as nice as this.   One of the things I like the most is the strap that allows you to slip it over your rolling carry-on handle.    There is plenty of room and padding for my laptop and a pocket for my tablet and my phone and thumb drives.    This is well thought out and looks good as well.   Best of all it keeps your hands free and you feel a lot less encumbered when traveling. ·                         Imported ·                         polyester lining ·                         Internal iPad/ tablet pocket. ·         ...

Sabrent 7-Port USB 3.0 Hub with Individual Power Switches and LEDs

Sabrent 7-Port USB 3.0 Hub with Individual Power Switches and LEDs included 12V/4A power adapter (HB-UMA7) This is a nice unit.   There is no setup.   I plugged it into my laptop and into my surge and all my devices worked.   I tried the switches and they all worked.   The 7 port is great as there always seems to be something new that needs plugged into a USB port. The power cord struck me as a bit of a nuisance until I realized that having its own power supply allows charging of those devices that are to demanding for a standard USB hub.   I have a more portable Sabrent unit for travel but this one will be a fixture on my desk. 7 Ports (output); 1 Port (input) Blue LED indicates power status for each port Supports transfer speeds up to 5Gbps (USB 3.0), 480Mbps (USB 2.0), 12Mbps (USB 1.1) 12V 4 Amp power adapter included to power up high powered devices.
