Motorola T505 ROKR Bluetooth In Car Speaker Phone with Digital FM Transmitter

This is an adequate product. I purchased it specifically to be able to use the car speakers to enhance audibility of calls. That aspect works intermittently. It allows you to play the music from your phone through your car stereo system. That works well. Too bad that is a feature I could care less about.

The speaker in the unit is fairly good so it does work. It just doesn't work for the reason I purchased it. Since the company has a "all sales are final" policy I decided it would be too much trouble to return it. It is not Amazon direct but a 3rd party vendor.

Due to the "all sales are final" policy and the inability of the unit to consistently use the car speakers for phone calls, I do NOT recommend the product or the vendor.

BTW it is most definitely my fault for not checking the return policy before I purchased the unit. The vendor clearly stated their policy. I screwed up.

I would advise checking return policies prior to making any Amazon purchase.

This same item was $139.00 at Staples when I got it at Amazon for $65.00, incidentally it did NOT work with my short lived Droid Incredible.   It works fine with my LG Dare.

Samsung FlipShot-ho hum

I just got the Samsung FlipShot aka SCH-U900. If you haven’t noticed by now, I am very family oriented, specifically focused on grandchildren. I frequently lament that I don’t have my camera on me. However, I always have my phone on me. Thusly I wanted a phone with a decent camera. The FlipShot comes close. Samsung claims it is a 3 megapixel camera with flash and zoom. The photos are not what I would consider decent from a digital camera but compared to my last phone/camera, they are much better. The phone has a slot for a micro sd memory card. I popped a 2gb card in there for saving my photos. I have not been able to find a way to default the photos to the memory card. You have to manually move them. I haven’t given up and perhaps in a software upgrade there will be a way to get them to the card without moving them manually. Getting them off of the phone is interesting. If you don’t buy Samsung’s charging/data cable, you can send them to yourself and get them on your pc that way. You
