This has lots of pockets and snaps and buttons and zippers. The material feels like heavy canvas. It seems like it should be very durable. These brackets surprised me with how sturdy they are.  So often brackets feel inadequate for their use.  These brackets feel like they can hold a lot of weight.  Note, you still want to hit a stud if you are going to put a lot of weight on them.  They come with a variety of fasteners and are well thought out. These are perfect for my use.   They seem durable but that is difficult to determine on an initial review.   I am using them on 12" wire shelves as a light weight barrier to keep both the shelves and the items on them clean.   This is a nice product. Frankly I would not use them in this situation.  These stair treads will most definitely give you better traction and footing.  However due to the gritty nature of the surface, I would not put these down on finished wooden steps.   I think they would be great for work shop or industrial areas but, to me, they are not appropriate for in the house use.
