I recently blogged about a grossly disappointing dental jet, the Interplak Dental Water Jet. It is a delight to post a highly positive review on the Waterpik Ultra. It is by far the best dental jet I have owned. It has a quality feel to it. You can turn it off and on without the thing sliding all over the counter. It has multiple pressure settings and a workable pause control. The piks easily insert and remove. That sounds picayune but the Interplak Dental Water Jet was a major effort to remove or insert the pik. If you are sharing a unit you will want to insert and remove the piks easily. My only criticism of the unit is that I wish they would have included 4 regular water piks instead of two. My compulsive personality would like to have a backup pik for myself and my spouse. VideoSecu Articulating LCD LED TV Wall Mount Aluminum Alloy Bracket for VESA 100 Flat Screen Monitor TV 1EC This wall mount for an LCD TV works great.  It was easy to install and it works with either the 100 or 75mm VESA mounting holes found on most current model flat screen TVs.  I liked the fact that they included 4 sets of 4 screws in different sizes.   They have obviously discovered that in spite of the VESA standard there is a need for multiple size screws.  I also liked that this was aluminum colored as opposed to the more common black.  It is less visible on a light colored wall.   The articulating feature works smoothly and the attitude adjustment was easily accomplished with the included Allen wrench.  Overall this is an excellent value for the price.

Kassatex Urbane 6 Piece Towel Set This is another CSN stores review.       They are providing products to review such as luggage, back to school stuff, office supplies, the list is practically endless.   What I like about this outfit is that there is no attempt to direct my writing or influence it.    They provide products to review and they encourage me to go to any one of their more than 200 stores and choose the specific product I want to review.     How cool is that! No contract, you see a lot of NETbooks advertised by cellular carries that will give you the same price if you promise your first born and sign up for the life span of 52 fruit flies. (2 years) Most of the NETbooks only come with flash drives for storage. This puppy has a full fledged 160gb hard drive and is priced less than what I paid for just a160gh hard drives when they first came out. I have not tried this unit but if I was in the market, I sure would be looking at it. Notebooks are always a volatile purchase. It is practically inevitable that on the way home from picking up your hot, new, great value notebook, you will see or hear an advertisement for a better, cheaper, sexy notebook. The best compromise deal (balancing features, performance and price) I have found recently is the HP Pavilion dv6-1030us Entertainment Notebook PC at Staples for a final down and dirty price of $599.98. I found the same notebook at Amazon for an additional $200.00. The price involves rebates so be prepared to wait for some of your money back. This notebook is a better value than the one Staples seems to be pushing for $50.00 less which doesn’t have as large hard drive, has no bluetooth and a smaller screen. If you don’t need the size and the DVD burner, I would look at some of the netbooks. They are pretty darn sweet and in the $299.00 range.
