In spite of having a whole house humidifier I wanted this unit for the bedroom. Hot air heat is so drying. This unit works quietly and has a good timer on it. The led color feature makes for a good nightlight but if you don't want that you can turn it to night time and that lowers the volume of water used and also turns off the led light.
