This is a very versatile video picture frame.   It can display photos and movies.  It can play music and show a calendar and a clock.   I tried a variety of storage devices.  It has a bit of a recognition problem with a USB drive but after rebooting the frame it worked fine.   The clarity of the photos is great.  The size of the file has a bearing on the how the file fits the screen.  The screen is large enough to see across the room.   This would make an awesome gift.
