Bushnell 16MP Trophy Cam HD Essential E3 Trail...

This is a very impressive gadget.  I have seen these trail cameras on TV but have never owned one.  The camera seems very durable.  The setup instructions were a bit obtuse but not terribly so.  It took awhile to set up the camera but once set up, it seems to work ok. I experimented with the settings and they appear to work.   One interesting note, you can use a standard SD card with this but if you want to avoid going out and pulling the SD card or bringing the camera in and connecting it to your computer here is an idea.  I put an eye.fi mobi card in which is a wireless SD card.  If you set the software on your phone or tablet you can have the photos transmitted to those devices automatically.  This assumes where you are putting the camera is within your wifi envelope.  If it is, mine is, then you can bring your photos up on your phone without removing the SD card or the camera. This works as it is how I am using the camera. Well it worked in setup mode.  It did not work in actual "on" mode. So perhaps someone can make it work but I didn't.

Samsung FlipShot-ho hum

I just got the Samsung FlipShot aka SCH-U900. If you haven’t noticed by now, I am very family oriented, specifically focused on grandchildren. I frequently lament that I don’t have my camera on me. However, I always have my phone on me. Thusly I wanted a phone with a decent camera. The FlipShot comes close. Samsung claims it is a 3 megapixel camera with flash and zoom. The photos are not what I would consider decent from a digital camera but compared to my last phone/camera, they are much better. The phone has a slot for a micro sd memory card. I popped a 2gb card in there for saving my photos. I have not been able to find a way to default the photos to the memory card. You have to manually move them. I haven’t given up and perhaps in a software upgrade there will be a way to get them to the card without moving them manually. Getting them off of the phone is interesting. If you don’t buy Samsung’s charging/data cable, you can send them to yourself and get them on your pc that way. You
