I suppose I am about to outrage jerky fans but I am not an aficionado of jerky. I saw this and thought, what the hey, I have
bought lots of jerky for my grandson and have never tried it. This reminds me of tough, chewy bacon. (I can hear the cries of outrage.) That doesn't mean I didn't like it, I
did! It had a nice flavor, I got BBQ and
did not get any bourbon flavor. Bourbon
I have had and that is a flavor I can clearly relate to. This says it is high in protein and low in
sodium. 1 oz is 80 calories. I've no clue how to identify one ounce
without weighing the stuff which is hardly convenient. It does caution you to refrigerate it or
consume it within three days of opening.
I was under the erroneous impression that jerky was well neigh to
indestructible and was surprised to read that.
Regardless of my lack of experience, I like this and found it to be a
good snack.
