TP-LINK AC1200 Wi-Fi Range Extender AV1200 Powerline Edition with Outlet Pass-Through (TL-WPA8630P KIT)

This installed correctly from the quick start sheet.  I admit that was a pleasant surprise.  Altogether too often quick start is a misnomer.  Another thing to consider is that I am running multiple routers, signal extenders and wireless paraphernalia.   I fully expected some conflicts.  I got no conflicts. The one button wireless connected and used the system config so no extra passwords were needed.  Signal was strong and steady. I particularly liked how plugging in and using the house wiring and providing hardwired connections at the other end worked cleanly.  I have a mini cellular tower that must be hardwired and sometimes there is no close hardwire connection.  (BTW off topic, if you are unlucky enough to be in a dreaded dead zone cellular wise, I strongly recommend the Samsung mini-cell tower.  With it I can use my cell phone at home, without it, I have to stand on one foot, hold the front pillar and lean off the front porch to get half a bar.) Back to the TP P

Turtle Beach - Stealth 420X+ Fully Wireless Gaming Headset - Superhuman Hearing - Xbox One

If you have a gamer that is truly serious, these are the headphones to grab.  They are comfortable which is crucial in those long overnight sessions.  They sound is clear and the microphone appears to be sensitive.   The rechargeable battery is a nice touch as a 15 hour charge should last for the most committed gamer.  Oh, they also work great on the phone and for skype.   From the vendor: ·                         100% Fully Wireless for Xbox One - No wires anywhere. Coravin One Wine System, Cobalt Blue/White/Grey

This is a pretty nifty Gadget. The instructions could be clearer but since they used pictographs it was easy to pick up. The method of tapping in to a bottle of wine was pretty simple. You merely installed the tube of gas which then allows you to pour the wine without letting any air into the bottle. It is an ideal way to sample different wines without having to open the entire bottle. I kind of doubt they will let me take it into the wine store though for my own sampling experiences. It certainly seems to work easily and if you're the kind of person that only drinks a glass of wine and doesn't want to open the whole bottle this is perfect.  Sadly for those of us who tend to drink the entire bottle at one sitting it will be of limited utility. From the vendor: User-friendly wine system keeps your wine safe from oxidation, allowing it to continue to age naturally. Non-coring, faster pouring needle allows access to wine without cork damage, allowing it to resea

3Doodler Create 3D Pen

3Doodler Create 3D Pen - The Latest Edition of the World's First 3D Printing Pen - Ultimate Art Tool & Crafts Pen Kit - With 50 Plastic Strands, No Mess, Non-Toxic (Spring Green) by 3Doodler This works ok, it isn't as easy to use as a competing product I also tested.   It is a plug in device and the cord does have a small impact on freedom of movement but for someone who vaguely remembers a wood burning pen this is way easier. I only scorched my thumb once.   Plastic was not real durable.  The plug in factor does allow for a longer use of the pen.  They suggest no more than two hours and then give it a 30 minute cool off period.  I would caution the kids to NOT touch the tip.  I don't know if it was a better plastic on the other pen but it certainly was more durable.   It appeared to be  extruded slightly thicker than this pen.   The end product was certainly more durable.  This isn't a bust, it just will take a certain amoun

18k Rose Gold Plated Sterling Silver Round Champagne Cubic Zirconia 4mm and White Cubic Zirconia Love Knot Stud Earrings

These are very pretty and seem well made.  The price is very reasonable and they should make a nice addition to anyone's costume jewelry line.   A great gift  from Amazon.  If reviewing a product, it may have been received free of charge. That will NEVER have a bearing on my recommendations.

SYMA X5UC 2.4G RC Quadcopter with HD Camera

This was easy to assemble.   It flies fine.   The controls are sensitive and will require some practice to master.   The struts that protect the blades are a great feature.   After knocking into the door when testing the motors, no damage.    Outside in flight tests it decided to go into the tree house.   This thing is quick.   Again, no damage due to the blade protectors.    The battery charged quicker than I expected.   The manual is bad.   This was an obvious translation from Chinese (I assume as that is the country of orgin.)   to English without any consideration for syntax and grammatical rules.    Annoying but hardly a major detriment.    The main issue is that the drone has a camera with zero, none, not a single line on how to get the photos out of the camera.   There are directions on how to take a photo but nothing in the manual to tell how to get the photos out of the camera.   I went to the SYMA website and the online manual is an exact duplicate of the paper manual
